BE ART is a Spanish company led by Sarah Pérez Roselló that seeks to promote culture among young people through the transformative power of art, thus fostering a greater appreciation and understanding of art in all its facets towards the achievement of a better society. This initiative is supported by leading artists such as the Pritzker Architecture Prize winner Toyoo Itō and the likes of Michael Nyman.
Our challenge on this occasion is to transmit the passion and knowledge deposited in BE ART at all its points of contact, both physical and digital. This involves creating viral experiences, using innovative platforms and inspiring physical spaces that reflect our commitment to culture and creativity.
A window open to the world
Starting from the history of art itself, we see how over the centuries the figure of the window and the poetics of the gaze have served to relate the symbiotic relationship between art and spectator.
According to the Renaissance theorist Alberti, art is ‘a window open to the world, through which to view history’. It is a fundamental organ for experiencing culture, for appealing to the spectator through different concepts (the oneiric, the historical, the fleeting…) and for its transformation by participating in this framework. For this reason, we decided to adopt sales as the main focus of all our communications.
We are didactic and cosmopolitan
The window breaks the single gaze scheme, adding multiple points of view through the constant movement of the viewer. It is a democratising element, a framework through which anyone can look and which contemplates the desires and perspectives of all its viewers.
Digital experience
In our digital strategy, we focus on communicating clearly and directly with young audiences. The website highlights upcoming exhibitions and events, providing a focused and effective overview of what visitors can expect. Each artist or exhibition has its own One Page, where all relevant information is compiled for its viewers. In addition, we created a library of multimedia content that offers free access to all the activities organised by BE ART. Finally, we adapt to the language and format of social media with short, engaging video clips, edited to suit our audience.
A visual discourse born to have an impact
With BE ART, our design philosophy is based on simplicity and clarity. We opted for strong typographies that put the focus on the message and, above all, on the artists and their works, giving them the main role in each presentation. We avoid any overloaded elements and develop a chromatic proposal with the intention of enhancing certain aspects of the works, always maintaining respect for their integrity and avoiding overshadowing their essence.
